This Privacy Notice explains how Little Roots Co. (trading as Parents Ending Power Struggles, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit our website or purchase our ebook. Little Roots Co. is the data controller for the personal data described here.
1. Personal data we collect
- Contact details: name and email address you submit when subscribing, purchasing, or contacting support.
- Purchase records: order ID, product purchased, timestamp, and refund status.
- Support messages: any content you send us by email.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, device information, and basic usage telemetry collected automatically when you visit the site or download your ebook.
2. How we use your data
- To deliver the product you purchased and provide support.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, download links, account confirmations).
- To send the email series you opted into, until you unsubscribe.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and secure our systems.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
3. Legal basis
We rely on (a) performance of a contract when fulfilling your purchase, (b) your consent for marketing emails, (c) our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with:
- Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record, which processes all payments, handles billing, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds, and related customer service. See Paddle’s privacy policy.
- Hosting, email, and infrastructure providers acting as our processors to operate the site and deliver emails.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when necessary.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. Retention
We retain purchase records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years). Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Support messages are retained for up to 3 years. Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@littlerootsco.org. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
7. International transfers
Some of our processors may be located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege credentials. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and similar storage required to deliver the site and remember your session. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
